dort hält´s euch nicht, wo tag um tag
ihr euer leben kennt,
und wo die sinne nur
das hergebrachte sichten;
wo man bekanntes jederzeit
mit selbem namen nennt, und
jahreszeiten sich genau
nach den kalendern richten.
ihr müsst hinaus! ihr ahnet doch:
der raum ist weit und wild!
so viele grenzen, die´s zu überschreiten gilt!
und voller lust und mut packt ihr ...-
...- die alten hergebrachten sachen, um euch
mit ihnen auf den weg zu machen.
und gäb es auch
millionen fremder bräuche
sich zu kleiden und zu speisen ...-
der mensch entschließt sich doch:
zu artgerechtem reisen

dia por dia, conhecem as vossas vidas,
e onde os sentidos só vêm
as coisas vulgares e aborrecidas;
onde sempre pelo mesmo nome
chamamos o conhecido, e
onde o tempo da certidão do
calendário está convencido.
têm que sair! vocês estão a suspeitar:
o espaço é largo e selvagem!
tantas fronteiras para atravessar!
e cheios de vontade e coragem pegam ...--
...-- nas coisas vulgares e aborrecidas,
para com elas partir

e apesar de incontável número
de diferentes costumes existir
para nos vestir e para nos alimentar ...--
o Homem decide na mesma:
adequados à espécie vamos viajar .
