Wohin soll denn die Reise gehn
Para onde a viagem vai
Where is the journey heading?

Öl, Hf - 2014 - 110 x 131 cm

dort draußen
rufen die möwen und
zirkeln auf den
spitzen ihrer flügel
wellenringe.
...- steht wohl jeder
für ein jahr?
wenn ich nur wollt´: ich
ging´ hinaus und zählte,
bis jahr um jahr sich
ring für ring
von meinem alter schälte.
in jede welle würde ich
mich betten, bis
leib und denken
weiße flügel hätten.
und schließlich flöge ich
mit ihnen traumgleich -
doch hellwach - und holte alle
nicht getanen reisen nach,
die, deren pläne sich
vergilbt
in kopfregalen rollen.
ich bräche auf: ich müsste es
nur ...- wollen

////
lá fora
chamam as gaivotas e
nas pontas das suas
asas circulam
anéis de ondas.
...-- estará cada um
para um ano?
se eu só quisesse: eu
iria para fora e contava,
até que ano após ano
anel por anel
da minha idade se descascava.
em cada onda
me iria deitar, até
que corpo e pensamento
tivessem asas brancas.
e por fim iria voar
com elas, como num sonho ...-
mas acordado ...-, e fazia
todas as viagens por fazer,
aquelas, cujos planos
amarelados se enrolam
em estantes na minha cabeça.
eu partiria: só teria
que ...-- querer

////
out there
the gulls are calling and
circling on
the tips of their wings
rings of waves.
...- does each one of them
stand for a year?
if only I would will:
I would go out and count,
until year after year,
ring after ring
peeled off from my age.
I would bed myself
into each wave until
body and thought
had white wings.
and finally I would fly
with them dreamlike ...-
but wide awake ...-
and make up
for all the journeys
I didn´t make,
all those the plans of which
coil turned yellow
in the shelves of my head.
I would set off:
I would only have ...-- to will it.
